Tapso AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Víboras's Arnulfo Jon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnulfo Unai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 54 played minutes, Tapso AFC's Felipe Azevedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aristides Calixto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tapso AFC reached it. A hard shot 55 in the game by Arnulfo Jon from a close distance when the talented Arnulfo Unai managed to make a qualified save. Tapso AFC's players were relieved. Clemente Goizeder charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Goizeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tapso AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Clemente Goizeder hit a great ball. Tapso AFC's Arnulfo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Veto in the 58th minute of play. Adolfo Florinio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adolfo Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Unai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Veto in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Dante Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Veto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Arnulfo Unai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Jon got free with Arnulfo Unai in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tapso AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Goizeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Florinio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aristides Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Tapso AFC were the better team. Tapso AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
