A collision led to Víboras getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Dante Garaile hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Balnearia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Veto came free, but Samuel Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Jon in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Arnulfo Jon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Víboras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Jon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado Veto in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Joey saved Balnearia FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Veto in the 26th minute of play forced Balnearia FC's goalkeeper Samuel Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Víboras's Aristides Calixto got control of the ball when Jesus Munio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florentino Hitzeder's late challenge caught a Víboras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With 59 minutes on the clock, Ermegildo Santo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Balnearia FC:s Samuel Joey showed great skill when he stopped Eleuterio Jurdan:s penalty. Víboras's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Veto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Joey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Veto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Joey having to interfere. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balnearia FC's goalkeeper Samuel Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Víboras's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
