Omar Iago was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Julian Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Julian Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Dominic. Zurditos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Omar Iago managed to get in a good position for a shot. NewKing's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Iago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Dominic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Rioja's late challenge caught a Zurditos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Rioja helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Bruno Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Iago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Dominic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Astrada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Rameriz in the 39th minute of play forced NewKing's goalkeeper Jaime Astrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Isauro got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Zurditos FC booed when NewKing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Severiano Rameriz came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Zurditos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Rameriz couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Rameriz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 76 minutes, Omar Iago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NewKing and the Zurditos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severiano Rameriz might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Astrada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Rameriz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 79 played minutes NewKing got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Malvin. Ildefonso Aztore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Astrada having to interfere. Jaime Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Rameriz in the 84th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, NewKing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Udalaitz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Aztore got free with Jaime Astrada in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
