Talleres de Córdoba's Adan Gar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Talleres de Córdoba from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Felix Txartiko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adan Gar, passed just outside the right post. If Felix Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
