The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Asaditos CRSN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Diaz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Anibal Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asaditos CRSN's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Dalmu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Ulizes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Asaditos CRSN's Anibal Dalmu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Ulizes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Vinicio Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Ulizes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Filipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Roldan having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Medero in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacarias Roldan saved Asaditos CRSN from getting behind. Ruben Filipo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Ulizes having to interfere. A collision led to Asaditos CRSN getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Lisandro Diaz hit a great ball. If Blas Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Dalmu might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Ulizes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anibal Dalmu ran back to his position shaking his head. Danilo Ulizes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Filipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Roldan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Medero in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ruben Filipo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Teodoro Manilan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Filipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisandro Diaz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Danilo Ulizes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asaditos CRSN. After 59 played minutes Asaditos CRSN got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Astudillo. If Ruben Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Ulizes having to interfere. 66 minutes in the game, Lisandro Diaz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Danilo Ulizes having to interfere. With a little luck, Maya FC's Danilo Ulizes got control of the ball when Anibal Dalmu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Anibal Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asaditos CRSN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Dalmu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute of the match Teodoro Manilan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Roldan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ruben Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Asaditos CRSN booed when Maya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Blas Medero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
