Spectators: 7193 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faustino Gaueko kicked off to start the match. Faustino Gaueko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Astrada having to interfere. Jaime Astrada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Llin in the 16th minute of play. If Julian Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Menucos got a freekick which was hit by Matias Salvidor. Omar Iago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Perutxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Iago's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Julian Berbiz took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aurelio Perutxo to make any attempt to save it. Adolfo Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Astrada having to interfere. In the 36th minute Faustino Gaueko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Isauro charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Isauro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximiliano Isauro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Martin Ixidor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Astrada skillfully saved the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Faustino Gaueko took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jaime Astrada to make any attempt to save it. Aurelio Perutxo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by NewKing's Omar Iago. But to his dismay, Omar Iago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Faustino Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jaime Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Menucos's Martin Ixidor got a free kick in the 74th minute. Adolfo Llin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Faustino Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Gaueko struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jaime Astrada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menucos. Jaime Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Gaueko in the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Julian Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NewKing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Berbiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Perutxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Iago went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Faustino Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NewKing's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
