Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Faustino Gaueko took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Menucos's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Estefan came free, but Aurelio Perutxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Benedicto Peter fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bardance FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Faustino Gaueko scored to the left of an out of position Cecilio Fernandes, making the score, 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Julio Solustiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Faustino Gaueko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Fernandes was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Martin Ixidor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cecilio Fernandes. Bardance FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Julio Solustiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Perutxo having to interfere. Gaudencio Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Aurelio Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Solustiano to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Bardance FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Estefan. Aurelio Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Solustiano in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Matias Salvidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menucos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bardance FC the free kick. In the 59th minute Bardance FC were awarded a corner. Aureliano Satordi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bardance FC's Aureliano Satordi to fire away a dangerous shot which Aurelio Perutxo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Adolfo Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Bardance FC's Julio Solustiano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bardance FC's zone, Faustino Gaueko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Fernandes came out of the goal and Faustino Gaueko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Menucos booed when Bardance FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Faustino Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Menucos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Gaueko couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Fernandes came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Menucos's Faustino Gaueko. But to his dismay, Faustino Gaueko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Menucos's Aurelio Perutxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Solustiano in the 91st minute of play. Menucos's Faustino Gaueko got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaudencio Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Aurelio Perutxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Menucos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bardance FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
