After a rather tough play, Perros Naufragos's Cristo Orlin got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Godfredo Galtero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixto Elia. Perros Naufragos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match, Timoteo Merexildo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nereo Gabirel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Isidro Cesaro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Marea's Nereo Gabirel. Nereo Gabirel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the game, Marea's Luis Matia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixto Elia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 34th minute, Timoteo Merexildo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nereo Gabirel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Isidro Cesaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Gabirel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidro Cesaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Sixto Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Perros Naufragos defense, Alfredo Suarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Elia. The Perros Naufragos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Elia should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Matia to strike the kick off in the second half. Nereo Gabirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Perros Naufragos booed when Marea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Luis Matia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sixto Elia. The goal made the score 2-3. Nereo Gabirel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Merexildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Marea's Nereo Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Bittor in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute, Alfredo Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alberto Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Perros Naufragos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Bittor couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Bittor in the 88th minute of play forced Marea's goalkeeper Nereo Gabirel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Timoteo Merexildo notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Marea's Nereo Gabirel. Nereo Gabirel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 93 played minutes Perros Naufragos got a freekick which was hit by Federico Dalmau. After having played for 98 minutes, Luis Matia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Matia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Marea failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
