After 3 played minutes, Verónica AFC's Ezequiel Cilio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrian Leizarraga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Verónica AFC reached it. Teobaldo Orlondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Adrian Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Adolfo Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teodoro Lico fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Verónica AFC's protests and gave Teodoro Lico a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Verónica AFC's Teodoro Lico got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, Doblas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Dolcet to maneuver through the defense. When Teobaldo Orlondo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Verónica AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Orlondo couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Tonete might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Ovando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Tonete ran back to his position shaking his head. Teodoro Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Adrian Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Doblas's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Orlondo came free, but Adrian Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Teobaldo Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Leizarraga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Orlondo in the 45th minute of play forced Doblas's goalkeeper Adrian Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teobaldo Orlondo to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Honesto in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo Ovando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angel Jesco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adolfo Ovando. Verónica AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Bernardino Honesto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Verónica AFC's Adolfo Ovando. Adolfo Ovando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodoro Lico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Orlondo in the 70th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Doblas got a freekick which was hit by Angel Jesco. After recieving a nice pass, Verónica AFC's Paulino Mergildo tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Orlondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angel Jesco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Adrian Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Orlondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Doblas getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ignacio Frutos hit a great ball. Adrian Leizarraga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Lico in the 84th minute. If Teobaldo Orlondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Lico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Adrian Leizarraga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Doblas had won after a very even match.
