Marco Ignatius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfo Ovando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Orlondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adan Corderro. Embalse AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Orlondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Adolfo Ovando made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Marco Ignatius sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Rufo in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Ovando saved Verónica AFC from getting behind. Adolfo Ovando made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marco Ignatius sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Verónica AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gualterio Fliz hit a great ball. In the 25th minute Amadeo Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Ignatius succeeded in the game's 27th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Florencio Raymundo's late challenge caught a Embalse AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Raymundo helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 minutes of play Verónica AFC's Florencio Raymundo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Florencio Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Embalse AFC's Fernando Sergi tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marco Ignatius might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Ovando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Ignatius ran back to his position shaking his head. When Amadeo Rufo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Embalse AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Rufo couldn't finish the play. Verónica AFC's Adolfo Ovando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Verónica AFC from getting a goal against them. After 47 played minutes Embalse AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Fidencio.

In the 48th minute, Gualterio Fliz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Embalse AFC's Adan Corderro didn't even have to move. After 51 minutes, Saturnino Fidencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Embalse AFC and the Verónica AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saturnino Fidencio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Amadeo Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Ignatius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Ovando having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Verónica AFC's zone, Marco Ignatius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Ovando came out of the goal and Marco Ignatius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Amador Iraunkor in the 65th minute really tested Adan Corderro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Adolfo Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Ignatius in the 67th minute of play. Nunez Rainerio charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nunez Rainerio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Embalse AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nunez Rainerio hit a great ball. Inocencio Beremundo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Verónica AFC! The referee gave Embalse AFC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fernando Sergi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Verónica AFC's Adolfo Ovando. 3-1. If Amadeo Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Marco Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Embalse AFC were the better team. Embalse AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
