Ernesto Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Ricardo Lucian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Donato Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Milio in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes MAYER got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Rosario. Leopoldo Chan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MAYER's Bernardino Polentzi got a free kick in the 29th minute. Tomás Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Telesforo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ubaldo Salvatore charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Salvatore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Claraz booed when MAYER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venancio Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Milio's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Braulio Rosario hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 37 minutes of play, Claraz's Atilano Mateus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Neto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venancio Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. MAYER's Venancio Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Milio in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Milio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, MAYER's Ovidio Demesio got a free kick in the 51st minute. A collision led to Claraz getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Celestino Garci hit a great ball. Donato Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Gaizkine having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Justo Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Venancio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Atilano Mateus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Venancio Neto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. MAYER's Donato Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Donato Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of MAYER booed when Claraz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Chan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Claraz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
