Salvador Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Cuervos de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Hug came free, but Salvador Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Romero came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Fractura Expuesta F.C.'s Mateo Maldonado. But to his dismay, Mateo Maldonado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Jacobo Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Romero. Cuervos de Boedo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Salvador Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Ruy, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Jacobo Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fractura Expuesta F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urbano Ruy in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Salvador Romero saved Cuervos de Boedo from getting behind. Mateo Maldonado hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Hug got free with Salvador Romero in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
