Las Estrellas Rojas's Ambrosio Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Telesforo in the 15th minute of play. Ambrosio Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Telesforo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Medero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MAYER's Paulino Hernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Edur during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Las Estrellas Rojas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Genaro Edur hit a great ball. If Paulino Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 minutes, Evaristo Virila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Estrellas Rojas and the MAYER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Las Estrellas Rojas's Ambrosio Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Telesforo in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, MAYER's Venancio Neto got control of the ball when Jimeno Elequemedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Rosio during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes MAYER got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Rosio. Venancio Neto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabian Medero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 79 minute of play. Fabian Medero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Las Estrellas Rojas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ambrosio Tano came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by MAYER's Donato Telesforo. But to his dismay, Donato Telesforo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 94th minute, MAYER's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jimeno Elequemedo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 97 minutes into the match, MAYER's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Medero came free, but Venancio Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
