Spectators: 7080 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mateo Maiorga kicked off to start the match. Encrucijadas's Fabricio Lon got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Rogelio Ortzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ceferino Weather skillfully saved the ball. The long shot by Abelardo Illart in the 20th minute really tested Tomás Gaizkine's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Tomás Gaizkine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Madeo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Encrucijadas's zone, Ernesto Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Weather came out of the goal and Ernesto Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Atilano Mateus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Weather was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Claraz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Mateo Maiorga scored to the left of an out of position Tomás Gaizkine, making the score, 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Chan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Weather. Encrucijadas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Chan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Milio was the one to do the kick off. If Ernesto Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabricio Lon struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tomás Gaizkine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encrucijadas. Atilano Mateus might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Weather. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilano Mateus ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Claraz's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Lon came free, but Tomás Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Milio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Weather having to interfere. If Fabricio Lon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Teobaldo Beturian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Encrucijadas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Teobaldo Beturian's late challenge caught a Claraz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teobaldo Beturian helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Claraz booed when Encrucijadas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
