Albino Cutberto kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Las Estrellas Rojas's Genaro Edur got a free kick in the 6th minute. Ambrosio Tano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Resacados FC's Ildefonso Baumar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Genaro Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Medero might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Abecia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Medero ran back to his position shaking his head. Resacados FC's Siro Abecia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Medero in the 25th minute of play. Jimeno Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Siro Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Martino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Ambrosio Tano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Genaro Martino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Genaro Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimeno Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Siro Abecia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Arturo Pes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Las Estrellas Rojas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resacados FC the free kick. Evaristo Virila kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Las Estrellas Rojas's zone, German Gerazan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Tano came out of the goal and German Gerazan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Medero to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Fabian Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Estrellas Rojas's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Medero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Abecia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 65 minutes, Fabian Medero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Las Estrellas Rojas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabian Medero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrosio Tano came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Resacados FC's Genaro Martino. But to his dismay, Genaro Martino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Moises Chepe charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Chepe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Resacados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Chepe to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Elequemedo got free with Siro Abecia in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Genaro Martino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Pes was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Las Estrellas Rojas getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Arturo Pes hit a great ball. Ambrosio Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Baumar in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Resacados FC's goalkeeper Siro Abecia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Elequemedo. In the 95th minute, Jimeno Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Resacados FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
