Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Maiorga in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Abecia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Genaro Martino came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Resacados FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Martino couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Fabricio Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Abecia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Ceferino Weather successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Siro Abecia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Chepe during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Resacados FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Moises Chepe hit a great ball. Siro Abecia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Lon in the 29th minute of play. Resacados FC's Ildefonso Baumar got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Martino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ceferino Weather made a huge save. Julian Bartoleme's late challenge caught a Resacados FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Bartoleme helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Julian Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Encrucijadas's Ceferino Weather proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Encrucijadas from getting a goal against them. Fabricio Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Maiorga to strike the kick off in the second half. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabricio Lon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Siro Abecia firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Mateo Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Chepe was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 80th minute, Moises Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mateo Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ceferino Weather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Martino in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Encrucijadas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
