Spectators: 6959 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Eguerdi kicked off to start the match. Moises Hanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Prudencio Umea made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, La Calabria's goalkeeper Prudencio Umea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Hanni. After 9 played minutes La Calabria got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Cisco. After a defensive mix-up in La Calabria's zone, Pedro Eguerdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Umea came out of the goal and Pedro Eguerdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Hanni got free with Prudencio Umea in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baldomero Cordarryl charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Cordarryl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Baldomero Cordarryl hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Hugo Cordaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Epifanio Belmiro. Bluestones's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of La Calabria booed when Bluestones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Cordarryl didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Geronimo Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Kinsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Moises Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bluestones's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Hanni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Umea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geronimo Kinsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Kinsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Bluestones's Moises Hanni in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Calabria's goalie prevented a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Bluestones's goalkeeper Epifanio Belmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Raymundo. In the 69th minute Geronimo Kinsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Belmiro made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Abelardo Raymundo sent off a good shot on target. La Calabria's Abelardo Raymundo got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Hanni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prudencio Umea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Bluestones booed when La Calabria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Geronimo Kinsen came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the La Calabria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Kinsen couldn't finish the play.
