After a rather tough play, Ancón's Teofilo Sol got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bluestones's zone, Cesar Urtzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Belmiro came out of the goal and Cesar Urtzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Ancón's goalkeeper Honorio Aballe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Hanni. In the 30thth minute of the game Pedro Eguerdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ancón's Honorio Aballe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Cesar Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancón's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Urtzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Belmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Modesto Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ancón's Teofilo Sol got his second yellow card of the match in the 35th minute. The referee ordered Teofilo Sol off the ground. Teofilo Sol hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Moises Hanni struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Honorio Aballe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bluestones.
