Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 30) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rogelio Nesor got the match started through his kick off. Teofilo Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Gonzalo Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Iliana in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Aballe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Ancón defense, Rogelio Nesor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Aballe. The Ancón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Aballe should have stopped the shot. Rogelio Nesor struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Honorio Aballe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jockey Club RC. Igor Iliana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Aballe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Igor Iliana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jockey Club RC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 24th minute of the match Marco Bizi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonzalo Bernat skillfully saved the ball. Honorio Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Nesor in the 29th minute of play. If Rogelio Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Iliana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Aballe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Honorio Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ancón's Honorio Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Nesor in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Jockey Club RC's Igor Iliana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorio Aballe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Modesto Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Bernat having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Modesto Piearres was the one to do the kick off. If Cesar Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Piearres in the 54th minute of play forced Jockey Club RC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Urtzi struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gonzalo Bernat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ancón. When Rogelio Nesor came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Jockey Club RC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Nesor couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute, Igor Iliana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogelio Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Aballe having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ancón's zone, Rogelio Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Aballe came out of the goal and Rogelio Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Iliana got free with Honorio Aballe in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute Rogelio Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jockey Club RC's zone, Cesar Urtzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Bernat came out of the goal and Cesar Urtzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Urtzi took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Bernat. Gonzalo Bernat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Bazil got free with Honorio Aballe in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Jockey Club RC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
