Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Palominos's Andres Quintana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Abelardo Raymundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prudencio Umea didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 5th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Federico Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Umea having to interfere. Prudencio Umea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Bertin in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes, Silvestre Ioritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palominos and the La Calabria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Calabria booed when Palominos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Ioritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Umea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Bertin in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes La Calabria got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Ermengol. In the 26th minute Palominos were awarded a corner. Isaac Fix went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of La Calabria's goalie and right to Oscar Garci. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. La Calabria's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Prudencio Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Quintana, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Federico Bertin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Palominos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Bertin couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Andres Quintana made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Umea. La Calabria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Federico Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Umea having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geronimo Kinsen made a kick off. After 57 played minutes La Calabria got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Cordaro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Kinsen in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st match minute, Palominos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Goyo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Palominos getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Andres Quintana hit a great ball. Aquilino Perrando came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by La Calabria's Arnoldo Cisco. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Cisco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in La Calabria's zone, Andres Quintana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Umea came out of the goal and Andres Quintana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes of play, Palominos's Andres Quintana made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Umea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andres Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Prudencio Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Bertin in the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Andres Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palominos's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Umea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Quintana in the 90th minute of play forced La Calabria's goalkeeper Prudencio Umea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palominos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
