Ciriaco Nataniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Mikelats in the 7th minute. Robustiano Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Godfredo Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelar. Ciriaco Nataniel made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Modesto Mikelats sent off a good shot on target. When Rustico FC's Hermengildo Bembe in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Robustiano Atarratze took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Godfredo Maldonado. Godfredo Maldonado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Godofredo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Maldonado having to interfere. Esteve Santana's late challenge caught a Rustico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Santana helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rustico FC booed when Castelar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Modesto Mikelats got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ciriaco Nataniel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Bembe in the 37th minute of play forced Castelar's goalkeeper Ciriaco Nataniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Castelar's Ciriaco Nataniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Bembe in the 40th minute of play. When Robustiano Atarratze came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Castelar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Atarratze couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute, Hermengildo Bembe fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ciriaco Nataniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Mikelats in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Tartalo to make the kick off. Ciriaco Nataniel came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Rustico FC's Hermengildo Bembe. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Bembe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Godfredo Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Tartalo in the 61st minute of play. Godfredo Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Tartalo in the 63rd minute of the match. Angel Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hermengildo Bembe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ciriaco Nataniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Nataniel having to interfere. Emiliano Pasqual kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Godfredo Maldonado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Tartalo in the 80th minute of the match. Godofredo Tartalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Maldonado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Castelar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Bautista to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Castelar's Esteve Santana got a free kick in the 96th minute. Rustico FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emiliano Pasqual in the 99th minute. After taking down the ball on Rustico FC's corner Emiliano Pasqual fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciriaco Nataniel quite easily take care of the ball. Castelar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
