Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Gabrio started the match with the kick off. Astor Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Gabrio in the 8th minute of play forced La Pirincha's goalkeeper Epifanio Belmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Futbol 5's Jonathan Gabrio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Belmiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of La Pirincha booed when Futbol 5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Olayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pirincha's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aquiles Ixaka in the 20th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Gualterio Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Pirincha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. La Pirincha's Epifanio Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Gabrio in the 38th minute of play. Andres Honesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Epifanio Belmiro made a huge save. Gualterio Elequemedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Confesor having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Emanuel Olayo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Epifanio Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Honesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 55 minutes, Adrian Claude mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Pirincha and the Futbol 5 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Pirincha getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Adrian Claude hit a great ball. Andres Honesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Gabrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64thth minute of the game Andres Honesto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Pirincha's Epifanio Belmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Futbol 5's Jonathan Gabrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Belmiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Jonathan Gabrio came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Futbol 5 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Gabrio couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Andres Honesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Gerardo Confesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Pirincha. In the 92nd minute, Gualterio Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Pirincha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Futbol 5.
