BENY's Faustino Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Marin in the 11th minute of play. After 14 played minutes BENY got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Gaskon. In the 22nd minute Aureliano Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fernando Polo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Fiz was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute Emilio Tolino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Bertol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes, Boedo FC's Fidel Odilon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Fiz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Boedo FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in BENY's zone, Claudio Locaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Fiz came out of the goal and Claudio Locaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Marin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Fiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Clemente Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes BENY got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Cambranes. 44 minutes into the match, Boedo FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Bertol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aureliano Froylan. Leonardo Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Boedo FC's Leonardo Bertol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Boedo FC from getting a goal against them. Freddy Loco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Bertol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The BENY players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boedo FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Polo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Bertol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Froylan in the 52nd minute of play. Leonardo Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Clemente Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boedo FC's Leonardo Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Loco in the 70th minute of play. Leonardo Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Loco in the 73rd minute of the match. Leonardo Bertol came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by BENY's Emilio Tolino. But to his dismay, Emilio Tolino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Boedo FC made a substitution. Amado Berart replaced Candido Fidensio. Boedo FC's Amado Berart shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Faustino Fiz but with some difficulty. 83 minutes into the match, BENY's goalkeeper Faustino Fiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Polo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Tolino in the 84th minute of play forced Boedo FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Froylan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Clemente Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Faustino Fiz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Froylan in the 96th minute of play forced Boedo FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
