Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sebastian Salvator made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Profundidad got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Satordi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Cucao in the 6th minute of play forced Profundidad's goalkeeper Eusebio Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Sebastian Salvator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Profundidad's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Salvator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Cordero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Horquilla's goalkeeper Denis Cordero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Berdaitz. Denis Cordero came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Profundidad's Bernardino Berdaitz. But to his dismay, Bernardino Berdaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Sebastian Salvator put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Cordero. After a rather tough play, Profundidad's Marcelino Kaxen got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Profundidad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Satordi to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Fagondo, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marcial Cucao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Gumaro having to interfere. Gervasio Benat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusebio Gumaro having to make a save. In the 38th minute Marcial Cucao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Benat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebio Gumaro having to interfere. If Marcial Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gervasio Benat made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Horquilla's Marcial Cucao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebio Gumaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Bernardino Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcial Cucao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gervasio Benat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Eusebio Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elpidio Lauren fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horquilla's protests and gave Elpidio Lauren a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes Horquilla got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Lauren. Profundidad's Eusebio Gumaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Benat in the 75th minute of play. Horquilla's Denis Cordero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Berdaitz in the 78th minute of play. If Gervasio Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Profundidad's zone, Gervasio Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Gumaro came out of the goal and Gervasio Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Profundidad were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Horquilla for a fine match.
