After a defensive mix-up in Burmeister FC's zone, Victorio Arce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Clemencin came out of the goal and Victorio Arce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernabe Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcial Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Clemencin having to interfere. Guaberto Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Enrique Venceslao could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Everardo Foro however easily saved by the left post. Everardo Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Foro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Ermano to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcial Clemencin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 64 minutes into the match, Bernabe Ourente notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Burmeister FC's Marcial Clemencin. Marcial Clemencin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Constantino Gutierrez kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Faustino Gutierrez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Everardo Foro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Bernabe Ourente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de Olavarría's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Ourente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Clemencin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcial Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Ourente in the 77th minute. Bernabe Ourente might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcial Clemencin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Burmeister FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Estudiantes de Olavarría were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
