Spectators: 7109 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) In the 5thth minute of the game Gervasio Benat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Los Muchachos's Simon Luzaide was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Martin Cambranes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Horquilla's Denis Cordero. Denis Cordero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Horquilla getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. German Cesario hit a great ball. Denis Cordero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. The supporters of Club Los Muchachos booed when Horquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Cesario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Lauren's late challenge caught a Club Los Muchachos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elpidio Lauren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Horquilla's Elpidio Lauren got a free kick in the 19th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Club Los Muchachos's Gaston Duarte tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The penalty shot was made by Gaston Duarte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Horquilla's Denis Cordero. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Horquilla's zone, Armando Chuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Cordero came out of the goal and Armando Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Chuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Denis Cordero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Cordero having to interfere. In the 36th minute Martin Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Martin Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Club Los Muchachos's Martin Cambranes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Cordero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Benat was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, German Cesario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horquilla and the Club Los Muchachos players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Chuse couldn't finish the play. Armando Chuse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Denis Cordero made a huge save. Simon Luzaide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 73 minutes of play, Horquilla's Marcial Cucao made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Luzaide was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Horquilla! The goalkeeper, Denis Cordero, was totally fooled by Club Los Muchachos's Gaston Duarte, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Denis Cordero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Cambranes in the 84th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Armando Chuse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Cordero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. In the 97th minute, Armando Chuse made a precise shot to the right of Denis Cordero. Horquilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6.
