Urbano AFC's Lino Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Ermano in the 4th minute of play. Benedicto Hodei charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Hodei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Urbano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Hodei to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Urbano AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leonel Costante hit a great ball. Lino Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Urbano AFC defense, Julio Ermano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Oroitz. The Urbano AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Oroitz should have stopped the shot. Gregorio Min sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Burmeister FC's Julio Ermano got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Burmeister FC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Aztore. In a very dangerous position, a player in Urbano AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! 44 minutes into the game, Sergio Aztore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burmeister FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urbano AFC the free kick. The supporters of Urbano AFC booed when Burmeister FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Aztore didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Ermano to make the kick off. Lino Oroitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Venceslao's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Marcial Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Hibai in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Julio Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burmeister FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Ermano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Oroitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Venceslao in the 61st minute of play. Gregorio Min recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Oroitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Venceslao's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of Burmeister FC booed when Urbano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Toli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saturnino Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Marcial Clemencin made a huge save. Felix Peli hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Agustin Monte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urbano AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Monte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gregorio Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
