Spectators: 7073 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gervasio Benat took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Julio Ermano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burmeister FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Ermano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Ermano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horquilla's Gervasio Benat got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Cucao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Marcial Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Cucao in the 32nd minute. Horquilla's Denis Cordero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Venceslao in the 35th minute of play. Julio Ermano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Cordero having to interfere. A collision led to Horquilla getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Daniel Cordaro hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Ermano was the one to do the kick off. If Gervasio Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Clemencin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Benat in the 56th minute of the match. Enrique Venceslao made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 65thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Denis Cordero would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. If Enrique Venceslao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Horquilla's goalkeeper Denis Cordero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Venceslao. 78 minutes into the match, Julio Ermano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Denis Cordero, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Burmeister FC's Patricio Montez got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Gervasio Benat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gervasio Benat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horquilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Benat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Clemencin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Burmeister FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Burmeister FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
