Joel Frasquito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Dolcet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Yitan FC's Adolfo Birjaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Osmundo in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rene Txaran in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Dolcet saved Cuesta FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cuesta FC's Gaspar Ibar got a free kick in the 15th minute. Mario Osmundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Birjaio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yitan FC's Martin Hunfredo got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Cuesta FC's Domingo Francho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 40th minute Joel Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rene Txaran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Dolcet was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Cuesta FC's Felipe Senen got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Joel Frasquito notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cuesta FC's Maximiliano Dolcet. Maximiliano Dolcet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Frasquito to make the kick off. Yitan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Txaran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Dolcet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Diego Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 72 played minutes Cuesta FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Senen. When Rene Txaran came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Yitan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Txaran couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Dolcet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joel Frasquito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. Joel Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Dolcet having to interfere. Maximiliano Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Frasquito in the 88th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cuesta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Yitan FC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adolfo Porfiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cuesta FC's Maximiliano Dolcet. 0-3. The Cuesta FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yitan FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Yitan FC.
