Leandro Gaur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Cristofol in the 4th minute of the match. If Alfredo Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Tomas Lore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Lizbeth. Yavi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Lore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Moreno's zone, Alfredo Cristofol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Gaur came out of the goal and Alfredo Cristofol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Yavi FC's Alfredo Cristofol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Gaur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moreno's Leandro Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Cristofol in the 23rd minute of play. Alfredo Lizbeth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Alfredo Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yavi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Cristofol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alfredo Cristofol came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Yavi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Cristofol couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Benicio Licerio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfredo Lizbeth. Benicio Licerio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Cristofol to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Yavi FC's Santiago Romano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leandro Gaur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Gaur having to interfere. Moreno's Benicio Licerio got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Moreno's Omar Checa got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 72 minutes, Aureliano Cucao mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moreno and the Yavi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Moreno got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Cucao. Omar Checa's late challenge caught a Yavi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Checa helped the player get up and apologised. Santiago Romano might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Gaur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Romano ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Romano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Leandro Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 86th minute of the match Omar Checa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Omar Checa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th match minute, Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Checa to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Yavi FC's zone, Benicio Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Lizbeth came out of the goal and Benicio Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Theodore kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Moreno had won after a very even match.
