Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Javier Intxixu started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes Tablada got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Jokin. After 8 played minutes, San Miguel del Monte FC's Tomás Iyan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anselmo Harriet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Miguel del Monte FC reached it. Javier Intxixu struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Anselmo Harriet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Miguel del Monte FC. Silverio Tiadoro's late challenge caught a Tablada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Tiadoro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, San Miguel del Monte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Egoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, Tablada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Mitxaut to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Isidor in the 18th minute of the match. Anselmo Harriet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Intxixu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Harriet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Intxixu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Harriet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Isidor scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anselmo Harriet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 42 minutes, Javier Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Miguel del Monte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Intxixu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anselmo Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Intxixu in the 49th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Salvador Telmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Harriet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Intxixu's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Javier Intxixu had several of the Tablada's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 57 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Anselmo Harriet as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Sebastian Isidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Javier Intxixu in the 65th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Anselmo Harriet kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Anselmo Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Isidor in the 70th minute. Javier Intxixus short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Anselmo Harriet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Tablada's zone, Javier Intxixu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Harriet came out of the goal and Javier Intxixu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teofilo Jokin hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Sebastian Isidor took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Harriet. Anselmo Harriet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The supporters of San Miguel del Monte FC booed when Tablada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tablada's Anselmo Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Intxixu in the 90th minute of play. If Javier Intxixu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Javier Intxixu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Isidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over San Miguel del Monte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tablada throughout the match.
