A hard shot 5 in the game by Aquilino Derwin from a close distance when the talented Maximiliano Dolcet managed to make a qualified save. Cuesta FC's players were relieved. When Claudio Fe came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Morrillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Fe couldn't finish the play. When Claudio Fe fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morrillo's protests and gave Claudio Fe a yellow card for diving instead. Claudio Fe kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Osmundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudio Fe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Derwin took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Dolcet. Maximiliano Dolcet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. There was no doubt that Morrillo were the better team. Morrillo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
