An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Poncio in the 35th minute of play forced Tinoco's goalkeeper Feliberto Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th match minute, Tinoco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Clodio to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Gauchos de Boedo's Ildefonso Jacindo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Feliberto Escobar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gauchos de Boedo reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Tinoco's zone, Ernesto Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Escobar came out of the goal and Ernesto Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Poncio in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Escobar saved Tinoco from getting behind.

The wind increased when Oscar Quexal made the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Poncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Tinoco's Maximino Chabier made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paolo Bastian was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Aldo Harkaitz fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tinoco's protests and gave Aldo Harkaitz a yellow card for diving instead. Aldo Harkaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Gauchos de Boedo's Ildefonso Jacindo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. In the 92nd minute Ernesto Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Escobar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
