Eleuterio Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Estevon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Palavicini's Maximiliano Maureo. Maximiliano Maureo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 14 played minutes Palavicini got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Oliviero. In the 17th minute, Eleuterio Estevon made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Maureo. Palavicini's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Feliciano Vincente came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Palavicini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Vincente couldn't finish the play. Hermengildo Gaskon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Maximiliano Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximiliano Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Omero in the 33rd minute of the match. If Eleuterio Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Feliciano Vincente made a precise shot to the right of Siro Herena. CATTA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 44 played minutes CATTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Gaskon. After 45 minutes, Aurelio Jerardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palavicini and the CATTA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Palavicini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Estevon made a kick off. Matias Rubio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Siro Herena. CATTA FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Siro Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Enaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Palos's late challenge caught a CATTA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Palos helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palavicini! Eleuterio Estevon walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Silvestre Sengrat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eleuterio Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes CATTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Medina. In the 66th minute of the match Remigio Fresco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siro Herena skillfully saved the ball. Silvestre Sengrat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Maximiliano Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Estevons short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Maximiliano Maureo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 71 minutes into the match, Palavicini's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Estevon came free, but Maximiliano Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hermengildo Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Palavicini's zone, Hermengildo Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Maureo came out of the goal and Hermengildo Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Feliciano Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palavicini's goalkeeper Maximiliano Maureo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hermengildo Gaskon came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the CATTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Gaskon couldn't finish the play. When Gavino Tavio fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palavicini's protests and gave Gavino Tavio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Gavino Tavio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Maureo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Faustino Medina. Hermengildo Gaskon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximiliano Maureo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 98 played minutes CATTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Medina. Siro Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Vincente in the 100th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded CATTA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palavicini.
