Epifanio Shantala helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Rodrigo Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gauchos de Boedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Elequemedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Licerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ernesto Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Bastian having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Simon Oxarra notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gauchos de Boedo's Paolo Bastian. Paolo Bastian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodrigo Elequemedo came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gerardo Licerio could save by the left post. In the 52nd minute, Rodrigo Elequemedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ernesto Poncio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gerardo Licerio was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gauchos de Boedo's Epifanio Shantala got a free kick in the 64th minute. Gerardo Licerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Elequemedo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Severiano Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Poncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Bastian having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Rodrigo Elequemedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sabadell's Gerardo Licerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabadell's Gerardo Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Poncio in the 85th minute of play.
