Hermengildo Gaskon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LIMA FC's Raimundo Maureo got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, LIMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Sengrat came free, but Julio Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, LIMA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Olo to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, CATTA FC's Eleuterio Estevon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Omero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hermengildo Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Julio Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CATTA FC. Eleuterio Estevon kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Siro Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Ugaitz in the 29th minute of play. Celestino Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Siro Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Ugaitz in the 33rd minute of play forced CATTA FC's goalkeeper Siro Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Herena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Ugaitz in the 44th minute of play. Siro Herena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CATTA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LIMA FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Estevon to strike the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Estevon charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Estevon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes CATTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Estevon. In the 52nd match minute, CATTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Medina to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Herena having to interfere. Celestino Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Siro Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Omero having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Laurin in the 71st minute of play forced CATTA FC's goalkeeper Siro Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albino Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CATTA FC's Siro Herena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Colon in the 77th minute of play. Marcelino Diagur's late challenge caught a LIMA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelino Diagur helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CATTA FC! The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Telo got free with Siro Herena in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Diagur hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Celestino Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Rodrigo Laurin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIMA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Laurin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LIMA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
