Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ernesto Poncio made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Gauchos de Boedo booed when Club Atlético Teuly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Blasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Teyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Poncio's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Saturnino Loreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Teuly's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Loreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Bastian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Teuly's zone, Ernesto Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Teyo came out of the goal and Ernesto Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Teuly's goalkeeper Gonzalo Teyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gauchos de Boedo's Luis Donostia got a free kick in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Gipuzkoa during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Gauchos de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. If Saturnino Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club Atlético Teuly's Pablo Ekialde got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Elequemedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzalo Teyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Elequemedo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Ernesto Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Poncio took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gonzalo Teyo. Gonzalo Teyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 41 played minutes Gauchos de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Liher. Paolo Bastian acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adan Sansone. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Elequemedo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Teyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Saturnino Loreto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Loreto in the 55th minute of play forced Gauchos de Boedo's goalkeeper Paolo Bastian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Teyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Elequemedo in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Club Atlético Teuly got a freekick which was hit by Americo Jokin. After 65 played minutes Gauchos de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Jacindo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Elequemedo got free with Gonzalo Teyo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Americo Jokin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Jokin kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gauchos de Boedo! Club Atlético Teuly's Gonzalo Teyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Teuly from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, Gauchos de Boedo's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Loreto came free, but Paolo Bastian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Saturnino Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Ekialde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Bastian having to interfere.
