If Carolo Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Venerando in the 6th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Ernesto Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Frasco was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Marco Venerando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Venerando really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Marco Venerando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Frasco having to interfere. When Arsenio Avellaneda fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Del Yoti's protests and gave Arsenio Avellaneda a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Del Yoti got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Avellaneda. Gustavo Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Bautista in the 32nd minute of the match. Aurelio Lehoi charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Lehoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Apaches booed when Del Yoti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gustavo Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Apaches's Urbano Demario got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Carolo Vimaro came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Del Yoti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Vimaro couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Lehoi got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 72nd minute, Marcelino Loren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes, Los Apaches's Ceferino Pio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Egoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Apaches reached it. Benicio Frasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Vimaro in the 75th minute of play. Urbano Demario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Egoi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carolo Vimaro struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Benicio Frasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Del Yoti. Igor Vito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benicio Frasco having to make a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
