The supporters of Velez Manda booed when Tinoco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Heli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Maximino Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Oscar Quexal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tinoco's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Quexal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Chinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspar Heli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliberto Escobar. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Delmar Argoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliberto Escobar. Tinoco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Argoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 37 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Clodio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tinoco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velez Manda the free kick. Angel Jerold hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Oscar Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Chinto having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Heli made a kick off. Maximino Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Rius charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Rius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Velez Manda getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Benicio Rius hit a great ball. If Maximino Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Argoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Escobar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Gaspar Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Escobar having to interfere. When Dalmacio Clodio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. Gaspar Heli struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Feliberto Escobar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Manda. Gaspar Heli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Argoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Escobar having to interfere. Velez Manda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
