The supporters of Rumipal AFC booed when Cauchicol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Dodorol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Roberto Palben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cauchicol. After 8 minutes of play, Cauchicol's Tobias Atarratze made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Palben was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pablo Buinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Federico Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Pablo Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tobias Atarratze came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Cauchicol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Atarratze couldn't finish the play. After 34 minutes, Eloy Artizar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rumipal AFC and the Cauchicol players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Rumipal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eloy Artizar. The audience held their breath when Gaston Balasi in the 36th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Roberto Palben's left hand side. Tobias Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Palben having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Rodrigo Aureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cauchicol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Aureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Tobias Atarratze notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Rumipal AFC's Roberto Palben. Roberto Palben was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 65 minutes into the match, Luciano Sindo sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Federico Socorro threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Luciano Sindo this time. Pablo Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Socorro having to interfere. Federico Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Buinton in the 73rd minute of play. Rumipal AFC's Roberto Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Aureo in the 75th minute of play. If Pablo Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cauchicol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Pablo Buinton scored to the left of an out of position Federico Socorro, making the score, 3-1. 93 minutes into the match, Cauchicol's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Buinton came free, but Federico Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cauchicol's Tobias Ugaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
