After 20 minutes of play, RIVER PLATE FC's Humberto Tirso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Atarrabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sixto Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Godofredo Atarrabi came out of the goal and Bonifacio Chayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godofredo Atarrabi came out of the goal and Virgilio Corderun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roman Camerino to strike the kick off in the second half. Sixto Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Godofredo Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Atarrabi having to interfere. Godofredo Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Godofredo Atarrabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, ΡΣĹØŦẪŽΘ ẪĹ ИŲÈЏЭ's Sixto Gonsalve ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cesar Sabino. Cesar Sabino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After a rather tough play, ΡΣĹØŦẪŽΘ ẪĹ ИŲÈЏЭ's Saverio Buinton got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute of the match Erasmo Bela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godofredo Atarrabi skillfully saved the ball. Joel Eguerdi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ΡΣĹØŦẪŽΘ ẪĹ ИŲÈЏЭ's Ciro Frans got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Godofredo Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Veto in the 94th minute of the match. RIVER PLATE FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
