In the 2nd match minute, Cauchicol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Cordario to maneuver through the defense. Federico Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Abalos in the 5th minute of the match. Albano Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Socorro having to interfere. Ovidio Christobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Aureo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. La plaza's Ovidio Christobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Aureo in the 13th minute of play. Albano Celio scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Federico Socorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Celio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La plaza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnulfo Abalos in the 20th minute. A well done corner resulted in Celedonio Natal drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind Cauchicol's goalkeeper. In the 30thth minute of the game Arnulfo Abalos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cauchicol's Federico Socorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Federico Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Natal in the 33rd minute of play. Atilano Abadie charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilano Abadie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Cauchicol got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Abadie. Albano Celio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Socorro having to interfere. If Enzo Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After a defensive mix-up in Cauchicol's zone, Celedonio Natal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Socorro came out of the goal and Celedonio Natal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, La plaza's Albano Celio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Federico Socorro. Federico Socorro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 62 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Aureo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Christobal. La plaza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Aureo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. After having played for 69 minutes, Albano Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La plaza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Celio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Tobias Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albano Celio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Federico Socorro 74 minutes into the match. Albano Celio in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Federico Socorro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Federico Socorro was a little too slow when Albano Celio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-7. Cauchicol's Tobias Atarratze got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ovidio Christobal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Aureo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Albano Celio came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the La plaza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Celio couldn't finish the play. Tobias Atarratze scored 2-7 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Christobal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
