Choya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club Jujuy the free kick. In the 6th match minute, Choya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Chayo to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Sayvion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes Racing Club Jujuy got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Berdaitz. 17 minutes into the match, Racing Club Jujuy's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Tajo came free, but Artemio Oxarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Choya FC's zone, Jose Otsoko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Gregory came out of the goal and Jose Otsoko tried to chip the ball over his head. Felix Gregory was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Jose Otsoko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jose Otsoko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Racing Club Jujuy's Jose Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Choya FC's Andres Illart got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Racing Club Jujuy's Jose Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jose Otsoko struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Felix Gregory didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club Jujuy. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Otsoko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Choya FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Otsoko came free, but Felix Gregory reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Gregory breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Gregory made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Otsoko in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Choya FC's zone, Jose Otsoko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Gregory came out of the goal and Jose Otsoko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Gregory having to interfere. The supporters of Racing Club Jujuy booed when Choya FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Cosme Tajo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Artemio Oxarra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 73 minutes of play, Racing Club Jujuy's Santos Chano made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Gregory was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute, Santos Chano made a precise shot to the right of Felix Gregory. Choya FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 80th minute, Andres Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Lauren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Racing Club Jujuy's Jose Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Jose Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club Jujuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Otsoko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
