After 20 played minutes Rumipal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Toribio. 21 minutes into the match, Rumipal AFC's goalkeeper Roberto Palben had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Otsoko. Santos Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Palben having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Club Jujuy's Santos Chano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Palben. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. 46 minutes into the match, Rumipal AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Chano came free, but Roberto Palben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Jeronimo Gabon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Palben showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Pablo Buinton made the kick off in the second half. Rumipal AFC's Roberto Palben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Chano in the 52nd minute of play. If Igor Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Racing Club Jujuy's Santos Chano in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rumipal AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Roberto Palben made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Otsoko in the 68th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Santos Chano made a precise shot to the right of Roberto Palben. Rumipal AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Racing Club Jujuy's Jose Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Santos Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club Jujuy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 93rd match minute, Racing Club Jujuy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Lauren to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Racing Club Jujuy fully deserved thier win.
