In the 6th minute Domingo Macias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Cordarrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Crescencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Xabel in the 15th minute of play forced Alegre AFC's goalkeeper Americo Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Montae took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Americo Crescencio. Americo Crescencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Perú's Leonides Berbiz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Leonides Berbiz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Perú protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Leonides Berbiz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 23rd match minute, Perú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Domingos Fix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alegre AFC's Americo Crescencio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Perú's Arnaldo Montae got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Americo Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Montae in the 32nd minute of the match. Adolfo Xabel took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Americo Crescencio. Americo Crescencio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Domingos Fix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Emeterio in the 39th minute of play forced Alegre AFC's goalkeeper Americo Crescencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Xabel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camilo Oihenarte to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Camilo Oihenarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Cordarrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Lluc in the 55th minute of play forced Perú's goalkeeper Moises Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Ovando during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Ismael Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alegre AFC booed when Perú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnaldo Montae kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Americo Crescencio. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Adolfo Xabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Crescencio having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Arnaldo Montae made a precise shot to the right of Americo Crescencio. Alegre AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Cuartio in the 75th minute of play forced Perú's goalkeeper Moises Cordarrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Omar Emeterio made a precise shot to the right of Americo Crescencio. Alegre AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Domingos Fix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Crescencio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Alegre AFC defense, Omar Emeterio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Americo Crescencio. The Alegre AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Crescencio should have stopped the shot. Matias Edur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moises Cordarrel. Perú's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Arnaldo Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perú's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
