Aeteano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Aeteano's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Asur came free, but Serafin Otoniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Otoniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Asur in the 29th minute of the match. With a little luck, River Plate's Gualterio Clodio got control of the ball when Iker Ieltxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aeteano's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Cirilo Asur scored to the left of an out of position Serafin Otoniel, making the score, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Ieltxu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualterio Clodio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gualterio Clodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Ieltxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Hector Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the River Plate defense, Iker Ieltxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Clodio. The River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Clodio should have stopped the shot. Nestor Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Otoniel having to interfere. Cirilo Asur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Serafin Otoniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 93rd minute Hector Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Clodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
