Marcial Lando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Montae's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Adolfo Xabel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Lando having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Montae in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Lando saved Lusampa FC from getting behind. Orlando Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lusampa FC booed when Perú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Perú's Leonides Berbiz got a free kick in the 21st minute. Saturnino Bernat succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to get real power on a long shot . Perú's Moises Cordarrel hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-0! Domingos Fix scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Lando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Lusampa FC booed when Perú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lusampa FC's Esteve Tebaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Cordarrel made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bernardo Magdaleno sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Montae in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcial Lando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcial Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Arnaldo Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Lando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Lando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Xabel in the 39th minute of play forced Lusampa FC's goalkeeper Marcial Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Cordarrel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Dorio in the 40th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Mauricio Polentzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lusampa FC's Marcial Lando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Saturnino Dorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Montae made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Lusampa FC's Mariano Ostadar got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Mauricio Polentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Xabel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Bernardo Magdaleno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moises Cordarrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Arnaldo Montae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Domingos Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Montae did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Marcial Lando 82 minutes into the match. Orlando Tabby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Marcial Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Perú could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lusampa FC throughout the match.
