In the 12th minute Teobaldo Ereinotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Americo Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alegre AFC booed when Resbalito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Alegre AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Americo Crescencio should have stopped the shot. Teobaldo Ereinotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Americo Crescencio having to make a save. If Teobaldo Ereinotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Resbalito FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the final whistle sounded Resbalito FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alegre AFC.
