An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Tebaldo in the 13th minute of play forced Barrio Facultad's goalkeeper Evaristo Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Lando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Senin in the 21st minute of play forced Lusampa FC's goalkeeper Marcial Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abel Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Jenaro hit a great ball. Evaristo Quinteros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Tebaldo in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Dorio was the one to do the kick off. Saturnino Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Quinteros having to interfere. Evaristo Quinteros was a little too slow when Aurelio Matthew got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. With his leg Evaristo Quinteros managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Lusampa FC's Esteve Tebaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tomás Gilen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Dorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Ostadar's late challenge caught a Barrio Facultad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Ostadar helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Lusampa FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Ostadar. In the 69thth minute of the game Abel Senin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lusampa FC's Marcial Lando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barrio Facultad's Evaristo Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Dorio in the 78th minute of play. When Esteve Tebaldo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Lusampa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Tebaldo couldn't finish the play. In the last second Evaristo Quinteros throw himself and got hold of the ball when Saturnino Dorio in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After having played for 90 minutes, Saturnino Dorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lusampa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Dorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Gilen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Lando having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
