Aeteano's Hector Frichoso got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Hector Frichoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aeteano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Frichoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Ernesto Elia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aeteano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luján FC the free kick. In the 18th minute, one of Aeteano:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aeteano. Celestino Erruki placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Rioja in the 22nd minute of play forced Aeteano's goalkeeper Serafin Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Quinto hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Epifanio Demesio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Ieltxu got free with Israel Mateo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Iker Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aeteano's supporters rose to their feet, but Iker Ieltxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Mateo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafin Otoniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Bartuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Mateo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Saverio Rioja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Serafin Otoniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Betadur hit a great ball. Hector Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Mateo having to interfere. Leo Janpier hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Iker Ieltxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Celestino Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celestino Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Serafin Otoniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luján FC. Saverio Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Otoniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Bartuelo in the 90th minute of play. After 93 played minutes Aeteano got a freekick which was hit by Lino Quinto. Saverio Rioja spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Aeteano's goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Luján FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
